Project Manager / Estimator
Job Description
The Project Manager / Estimator will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of plumbing projects from start to finish. This includes overseeing project teams, managing schedules, budgets, and costs, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of plumbing projects from start to finish.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and costs.
- Lead project teams, including sub-contractors, and ensure their effective collaboration and communication.
- Manage project risks and resolve any issues that arise.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders and ensure their needs are met.
- Negotiate contracts and project terms with clients and sub-contractors.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients and stakeholders.
- Provide regular project status updates to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and company policies.
- Attend project site visits and meetings as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the plumbing or construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large and complex projects.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Ability to manage and motivate project teams, including sub-contractors.
- Understanding of construction schedules, budgets, and costs.
- Ability to effectively manage project risks and resolve issues.
- Willingness to travel as needed for project site visits and meetings.
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong negotiating skills for contracts and project terms.
